Gathering our absolute tip top, super-duper favourite photographs from all the spectacular weddings we have had privilege of photographing in 2011, was a mammoth task. When you’ve been right there in the moment, witnessing ever tear, every laugh, you become emotionally attached to each and every one. After much debate and deliberation, we put together a blog post that we were really proud of. Then we added a few, lost a few, changed it around a bit, added a few more and eventually hit the almighty ‘publish’ button! If you haven’t seen it yet, here it is:

The big question though; which is our utmost favourite, remains unanswered. We certainly wouldn’t agree on one! We love them all for different reasons; the emotion, the beauty of the detail, the composition, the light… what is it you look for in the perfect wedding photograph? Our top wedding photography package, ‘All in the Detail & Then Some’, includes the following;

Wondering how will the winner be selected?

The old-fashioned way! Each comment is numbered. We will put the numbers into an {uber-stylish} hat, mix them up and pick one out!

The fine print:
1. All entrants must be over 18 years of age to enter. 2. The closing date for receipt of all entries will be midnight on Wednesday 29th February 2012. 3. The wedding must take place between March 2012 and March 2013. Wedding date subject to availability. 4. The winner will be notified by email by Friday 2nd March 2012. Should the winner be unable to claim their prize, another winner will be drawn. 5. The pre-wedding/engagement shoot and the wedding itself can take place in any location, in any country. Travel expenses must be paid if the location is further than 25 miles from Eastbourne, East Sussex. Overnight accommodation must be provided if deemed necessary due to journey time. 6. Offer only applies to Tino&Pip’s ‘All in the Detail & Then Some’ package. 7. Copyright of the images will belong to Tino&Pip Photography. The winning couple will be granted a license to use and reproduce the images for personal use. 8. Couples should agree that their wedding photographs could be used for advertising purposes. 9. Only one entry allowed per couple. 10. Email addresses and personal details obtained via this competition will NOT be passed on to any third party. 11. We are asking for your help in raising awareness for the charity Count the Kicks- working to reduce Stillbirth & Neonatal deaths. They have had the fabulous idea to put together a 2012 calendar to raise funds for their cause and are looking for mummies-to-be to model their beautiful bumps.

In return we are offering a FREE 1 hour maternity shoot at a location of your choice and an online, password protected gallery of up to 20 images, with every image lovingly retouched… Further more, 50% of any subsequent purchases will be donated to Count the Kicks!

“We are looking for Anne Geddes style fun, immaginitive shots that represent each month of the year, ideas we’ve had so far are using body paiters and painting a Pumpkin design on a Bump for Halloween in October, or a Christmas pudding in November, perhaps a big Sunflower for April or May and maybe a model in an “Incey Wincey – teeney Weeny – Yellow Polka dot Bikini” holding a beach ball for July??! The more imaginitive the idea the more we will love it!” Sophia Mason, Count the Kicks.

We’d love to hear your ideas for the calendar shots, as we would still like them to reflect your style and personality. We may even let you pick your favourite month! ; ) Of course, not the entire shoot needs to adhere to this theme. We can also explore any other ideas you have and work to achieve as much variety as possible for you to choose from.

We must submit our photos for the calender by September. Bumps around 35 weeks are the best for size and shape. If you are based within 25 miles of Eastbourne, East Sussex, please get in touch- we could have so much fun!
